The Munchkins had a great time riding their bikes! The sun finally popped out from behind the clouds ( for a day) and we took advantage.

Jo has a new Spiderman big boy bike so he passed hid Diego bike on to Nina. She loves it. He also passed on his old bike helmet, but since her head is A LOT smaller, it doesn't fit with out her winter hat underneath.

He did Really well riding his bike by himself, and I think he'll be without training wheels soon!.

Hello-

Well it's been quite a while since I last updated this site. A lot has changed. Nina turned 1, Jonah started School (preschool) and left the Center for the Arts.

Miguel is still working for the Schools, and is right now serving Jury Duty. I don't know if any one that reads this knows about the trial, but for our sleepy little town it's a big one. Last year a woman was murdered here in town. That was big news since it happens once in a blue moon. The suspected Murderer (her husband) is now on trial. We shall all see how that turns out.

Back to happier news, Jonah LOVES school and has many friends. He is quite the social butterfly. He is doing really well, and they accepted him for another year. He now knows and can read and write most sight words, his name, and most of the names in our family. He even wrote and signed his own valentines this year. He can count to 100, and has really picked up his Spanish quickly. He is now into asking Miguel how to say every thing he sees in Spanish. He will be going to Myrtle beach again with my Mom, and grandparents in a few weeks, so I'll update more then.

Nina is 16 months old now, and is CRAZY! She is a wild woman, getting into everything. She has talks a lot and has no problem telling you no. Nina loves her brother, and tries to do everything he does. I cant believe how quickly she is growing up. She has a very distinct personality and loves to be the center of attention.

Well I think thats all for now, I'll update again very soon, I promise. I'll leave you with a Video of Jonah singing his very ow version of "5 Little Monkeys Jumpin' on the Bed". ENJOY

The Jonah returns to a mobile Bean...

Jonah came home on Mothers day! It was FANTASTIC! He was excited to see us but promptly told me that now we all needed to get back on the airplane and go back to the beach. He has been great with Nina even though now that she's mobile she gets into everything he has.

Nina is 7 months old now, and has mastered crawling. She's now attempting cruising, and even has been brave enough to let go a few times. She still has the biggest personality I have ever seen in a baby and loves to sing. She is a born Drama queen. Jonah will start Pre-School in the fall and has been practicing at Church school. He LOVES it. This next Sunday he will be singing with the class in front of the 8:30 mass. He's so excited he practices his song almost all day.

The bean can move...

Well it's all over. The bean (Nina) has perfected crawling. She in now terrorizing the Pugs. She has officially beat Jonah's record by almost 2 months. She now is working on the furniture cruising. It seems that, like Jonah, crawling is just not fast enough for her. She now pulls up and cruises anything and everything she can reach. Her personality comes out more everyday. She is definitely a people person. Today we went to an Antique and Quilt show. More people were looking at here than the quilts. She caught everyones eye and immediately smiled that irresistible smile she has. Every person that walked past us had to stop and talk to her, confirming our suspicions that she is going to be "that girl". She's the best.

Jonah's Beach

Jo is having a blast in Myrtle Beach. I talk to him twice a day. He called this morning and woke up Daddy, just like every Saturday. When he's here he usually jumps on him. Literally, jumps on him. This morning he screamed "wake up daddy!!!" over the speaker phone. It worked. Mig was up in no time. He has learned how to make sandcastles, and tells me he has a big seashell for baby sisser. As of yesterday the count on chicks was Jonah 3 1/2 - Papa 1 1/2.

Jonah the Traveling Fool

And he's off again.... This time he's gone to Myrtle Beach. As Lisa said, my 3 yr old has more Airtime clocked than most Middle agers. Thanks to Mimi for giving him all these experiences. Mig and I have to work so Mimi, Nana, Papa and Great Aunt Pat took him for 2 weeks to the beach.
His First day there, not 2 hours after the plane landed he had already picked up a chick! Score as of today (day 2) was Jonah 2 - Papa 0.

Nina's 6 Months old!

Nina has hit 1/2 a year! We can't believe it has gone by so quickly. She's a very tall skinny girl. At almost 30 inches, and only 19 lbs , she makes Jonah look like a chunker. She made a lot of Firsts this month ,including crawling, pulling up, and saying Baba and Dada. Her personality has flourished also. She is very outspoken, and extremely silly!
She, as you can tell, Absolutly LOVES the camera. Good thing too, I wasnt aboiut to stop taking pictures.
